Velleia is a country ofEmilia Romagna, fraction of Lugagnano Val d'Arda.

To know

The village, located in the Apennines on the Piacenza hills, is known for its Archaeological excavations which, in 1747, brought to light important ancient finds Veleia from Roman times.

  • A1 motorway: exit a Fiorenzuola d'Arda, follow the direction for Fiorenzuola; near Fiorenzuola continue on the SS 9, take the provincial road for Castell'Arquato and continue until Lugagnano Val D'Arda (SP 4), then the signs for Velleia.
  • From Piacenza: take the SP 6.
