Venice[1] is a city in the NorthIn Italy.
Come
Because Venice is a lagoon, water is a significant part of the city’s transport links. The most popular way to get to Venice is by boat or train.
By train
Venice Central Station is Santa Lucia Train Station. There are connections from there Verona, Trieste, To Milan, Bolognaan, To Rome and Florence. You also get easy access To France, To Germany, To Austria, To Switzerland, Slovenia and To Croatia.
By plane
Finnair flies directly to Venice Marco Polo Airport (DATE: VCE) from April to September. From the airport there is a vaporetto connection to Piazza San Marco (approx. 1 hour) or a bus connection (approx. 20 min) to Piazzale Roma (close to the train station), from where you can continue on foot or by vaporetto.
By road
You can't get to the city center by car, you have to park your car on the Mestre side, where you will find several parking garages.
Move

Venice only travels on foot, or along the water by vaporettos (liner traffic), gondolas (expensive), motor boats or why canoes, etc. Cars and buses are outside the lagoon city. A suitcase with wheels is necessary, as you will most certainly be able to lug it even long distances before you find your accommodation in the maze of alleys, unless you have already booked a five-star hotel on your own pier.

Tea
Spend the day at sea, take the vaporetto to Murano (glass), Burano (lace) or Lido (Death in Venice).Power places (like San Marco Market) where everyone is crowded, look away (like a ghetto) and you will experience an ancient, lovely and peaceful Venice.
If you want to relax on the beach. Take the vaporetto to the Lido, a short walk to the beach on an esplanade-like street. One great option is to rent a bike from the numerous bike rentals and ride around the beautiful island.
Buy
Glass, glass, glass. Imaginative masks behind which it is appropriate to hide one's face during carnival time. Everything possible in the street market.
Eat
Eat your stomach to the fullest with world-famous Italian cuisine, either at the most expensive and finest restaurants near San Marco or alternatively on a slightly quieter and more atmospheric little street at cheaper prices. Both have a choice and you are sure to find the place you want. For dessert, melt-in-your-mouth ice cream is available from almost every street corner. You can buy really tasty loose ball ice cream from small ice cream parlors.
