Victoria is the capital of Seychelles.
To know
It is located on the north eastern side of the island of Mahé. It is one of the smallest capitals in the world and the only major port in the Seychelles. Its courthouse and post office in the city center have been virtually unchanged since colonial times.

By plane
The city's airport is theSeychelles international airport. This is the hub for Air Seychelles. Air Seychelles flies to Bangkok, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Johannesburg, Rome, Milan is Port Louis via Boeing 767 aircraft. International service is available from Nairobi (Kenya Airways), Dubai (Emirates) e Doha (Qatar Airways), London (British Airways), Paris (Air France) and regular charters from Frankfurt (Condor) and also from Amsterdam (Martinair).

Attractions in the city are there clock tower modeled on that of the Vauxhall Clock Tower a London, in England, the Justice palace, i Victoria botanical gardens and the Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market. The city is also home to the national stadium and a polytechnic institute, while the inner harbor is located immediately east of the city, around which tuna fishing and canning form a large local industry. One of Victoria's largest bridges was destroyed in the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake.
