The Wadi Diff, also Wadi Daff, Arabic:وادي دف, Wādī Diff, is a valley in the Rootmeergebirge in the egyptianArabian desert. The east-west valley was part of a caravan route that started at the meeting point of Wādī Naʿām and Wādī Ḥōḍein began and into the Nile Valley in the area of today Lake Nasser led, even if you no longer know where exactly this route ended. There is an important water point on the route Biʾr diff, in the vicinity of which travelers have made rock carvings
