Waldhessen R12 - Waldhessen R12

The regional Hessian cycle path Waldhessen R12, (not to be confused with the regional cycle route R12 "Chatttengau-Fulda-Radweg") leads from Hünfeld District of Fulda about Bad Hersfeld to Rotten in the Schwalm-Eder district. The route follows the Haune in the first section Haunetal cycle path, then from Bad Hersfeld the Fulda Fulda Cycle Path - R1. From Ludwigsau-Friedlos, the cycle path turns in a north-westerly direction into the Hessian highlands of the Knüllwald and leads back in a large loop to the Fulda in Altmorschen. There the regional cycle path meets the long-distance cycle path again Fulda cycle route R1.
