Wuhan(Chinese: 武汉 市 / 武漢 市 
) is the capital of the province Hubei in China.

Wuhan is located on the Yangtze River; it emerged from the former city of Wǔchāng on the right bank of the river and the two cities of Hànkǒu and Hànyáng on the left, which in turn are separated from each other by the Han River.
climate
Wuhan is known as an ember, and it gets quite hot in the summer months. On the other hand, temperatures only reach values around freezing point in the cloudy winter months. Air conditioning systems in summer and heating in winter are a point that should be clarified in your hotel. Many restaurants also only moderately heat their rooms with fan heaters, which is why you sometimes have to eat in an anorak. While it looks similar in many private apartments, you can get the necessary cooling / heating in the large shopping centers and shops.

By plane
Wuhan has an airport with connections to all major cities in China and to the “periphery” Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. A taxi into town costs at least 80 yuan due to the tolls for the highway. The airport bus takes you to the city for as little as 17 yuan. The individual stations will also be announced in English via a tape announcement. Up to the first station in Min Hang Xin Zun the journey takes a quarter of an hour.
In the airport, as in all major airports in China, there is free WiFi.
By train
Due to its central location, Wuhan is easily accessible by train. There are three train stations, two older ones, the Hankou Railway Station (汉口 火车站) and the Wuchang Railway Station (武昌 火车站), each of which can be reached by national traffic. Thanks to the new Beijing-Canton-Shenzhen railway line, Wuhan can be reached by G-trains (高 铁), most of which stop at the Wuhan Railway Station (武汉). A trip from Beijing to Wuhan (1200 km) takes between 4.5 and 5.5 hours and costs from € 70 for 2nd class. There are other express train routes (G trains) to Chongqing, Shanghai, Nanjing etc. mostly from Wuhan and Hankou stations.

The traveler can choose between buses, taxis and five metro lines. Further metro lines are still under construction. As in other cities in China, there are many taxis, but especially in the morning and evening (around 16: 00-17: 30) it can take some time to find one. The fare starts at 6 yuan.

- Yellow crane pagoda. The pagoda in the Wǔchāng district was built around 220 AD. built and offers a good view over the inner city districts.

- Hubei Provincial Museum, at Dong Lake. It includes around 140,000 exhibits.
