By plane

1  Xīnzhèng Airport (鄭州 新鄭 國際 機場, Xīnzhèng guójì jīchǎng). Tel.: 86 371 96666. Only Terminal 2 is in operation. There are connections from the airport to the city from the "Ground Transport Center" underground with the Chengjiao metro line (level B2, 5 yuan). Long-distance trains also run here (level B3). In front of the terminal city bus routes 611, 612, 613, 638 during the day until 8 p.m. (all for 1 yuan) The night line Y636 8 p.m. to midnight and 4.30 a.m. to 6.30 a.m.Open: 4.30-24.00.last change: Mar. 2020

By train

3  Central Station, No. 82, Erma Road, Erqi (Long-distance buses stop at the eastern forecourt, including those to Luoyang. Numerous city buses on Xinglong Street in front of this square. The Airport Shuttle 2 stops in front of the Zhengzhou Hotel (500 m). The metro station is on the western forecourt. The taxi rank is underground here.). The Subway infrastructure has 5 lines with 98 stations at the end of 2019. Further expansions are planned. Number 5 is a ring line.

Operating time is 6 a.m.-10.30 p.m. Tickets cost 2-4 yuan, depending on the route.

Zhengzhou serves as a good starting point around that Shaolin monastery the Kung fu-Monks to visit. In front of the main train station, some tour buses go in the direction of the Shaolin monastery. From the Shaolin monastery you can get various buses to Luoyang take and there the Longmen GrottoesWorld natural heritage to visit since the year 2000 World Heritage belong to UNESCO.
