All visitors arriving in the Federated States of Micronesia must have a passport valid issued by the government of their country. The document must be valid for at least 120 days beyond the date of entry. As an exception to this rule, citizens and nationals of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of Marshall Islands and United States who can also prove their citizenship or nationality by birth certificate or entry permit. they also receive an entry permit valid for one year.
