Epinal is a french City in the department Vosges, in the region Lorraine.

Épinal is the capital of the French department of Vosges and the arrondissement of Épinal.
The city lies on the Moselle. A three-kilometer branch canal leads from the Moselle to the Canal des Vosges. The city is also shaped by the foothills of the Vosges.

- A boat service connects the Champ de Mars car park with the center. The boats run in the afternoon and are free.

- 1 Saint-Maurice basilica (basilique Saint-Maurice d'Épinal), rue pellet. The main building was added to the tower of the previous church from the 11th century in the 13th century. In the right transept there are some remarkable tombs from the 15th century. The new and well-developed Vosges Canal cycle path offers cycling fun over a length of 73 km. To the west you can visit the Bouzey reservoir (Réservoir de Bouzey), to the north the Moselle valley explore.
