Route description with sights
He leads from Diez at the Lahn (Connection to the Lahn valley cycle path) above Hahnstätten, Aarbergen, Bad Schwalbach to Taunusstein-Hahn. The southernmost section was only opened in 2005 and is still heavily criticized today, as it leads up and down in large sections, so at Hohenstein Castle and Adolfseck. The section between the Hessian places or districts Aarbergen-Michelbach and Heidenrod-Laufenselden is completely missing, because the Rhineland-Palatinate municipality of Reckenroth was not prepared to give up a farm road in its district due to the criticism of its hunting tenant. The hunting tenant had threatened to cut the hunting lease.
