By train / by bus

To get here by public transport, we recommend going through the capital of the prefecture Larisa. Larisa train station on the railroad - Route Thessaloniki - Athens, which is served about every two hours, is in the south of the city.

In the summer months, buses run from the bus station KTEL Larisa (ΚΤΕΛ Λαρισας) several times a day in the coastal towns, on the home page of the KTEL website there is an electronic timetable information (you have to master the Greek alphabet ...), an English translation at www.larissa-beach.gr. The specified timetable to the beach resorts is only valid from the end of June to the end of August!

In the street

The toll motorway A1Thessaloniki - Athens bypasses the capital of the former prefecture Larisa in the east in a wide arc; from here you follow the well-developed main road Agia, through a range of hills it is a bit curvy to the coastal towns.

It is better to take the exit from the bypass 1 Larisa 2Symbol: AS 2 Larisa and, shortly after the exit, drives north parallel to the motorway than the one that is also signposted 2 Larisa 3 exit Symbol: AS 3 Larisa, the main road leading from Larisa directly to Agio, is crossed by the motorway without an exit. Of Symbol: AS 3 Larisa is a better connection over Sykurio - Spilia to Stomio under construction, but not yet fully accessible.
