The most interesting part is the old town with its clay houses, many of which are abandoned. This district is almost completely abandoned even if the growing tourism is causing timid awakenings. Turning between the houses, the unreal silence and the alleys is a fantastic experience. In the lower part there are aflaj with small cultivated and luxuriant lots. If you are lucky you can meet local people or elderly women who carry vases on their heads.
