Latin America - America Latina

Latin America, although there is no univocal definition, it is to be understood as the term often used to indicate those countries whose culture is attributable to the Latin lineage, in this case those countries whose official language is the Spanish or the Portuguese primarily. Being, then, also the French a language of Latin origin, the states that adopt it as an official language are also part of it.

It is a common mistake to identify the whole South America and / or the whole central America like Latin America, in fact there are several states whose official language is theEnglish (e.g. the Belize) or theDutch (e.g. the Suriname).
