Aumühle is a parish in the district Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein, about 20 kilometers east of Hamburg. Aumühle is in Sachsenwald, the largest forest area in Schleswig-Holstein. Districts are Aumühle, Billenkamp and Friedrichsruh.

By train
The Hamburg-Berlin railway runs through Aumühle (without stopping in Aumühle), the next long-distance train station is Hamburg-Bergedorf. From there or from downtown Hamburg, Aumühle can be reached with the S-Bahn line S 21 (approx. 30 minutes travel time from Hamburg Central Station). You can take the S-Bahn from Aumühle to the neighboring towns Wohltorf and Reinbek , regional trains continue to run from Aumühle Schwarzenbek and Books.
