The Ayeyarwady region (Burmese: ဧရာဝတီတိုင်းဒေသကြီး, earlier: Ayeyarwady Division and Irrawaddy Division) is a region or administrative unit in Myanmar. It was named after the country's lifeline - the river Ayeyarwady.

Diving: There are a number of beaches in the region. However, an infrastructure for diving athletes does not yet exist. Only on Ngwe Saung Beach the country's first dive center now exists.
