THE'Geneva-Cointrin international airport (coded IATA GVA) is the airport serving Geneva in Swiss and more generally French-speaking Switzerland as well as neighboring France, in particularAin, the Haute-Savoie where the Swear.
Understand
There is only one main terminal, all access takes you to the main terminal. At ground level (you may have the impression that it is the basement): arrivals, on the 1st you will drop off your luggage and check-in, then go to the 2nd for the security. Either before or after this one you will find something to fill your stomach with or buy a last souvenir. The Duty Free that follow the security check will instead sell you luxury items at a price that is certainly interesting, but not cheap. Perhaps do not hang around too much, because between the security check, some gates (especially for Easyjet) can then be at a good fifteen minutes, you will cross corridors, underground by means of conveyor belts to bring you to the gates of your plane, unless a bus takes you there.

- 1 Geneva-Airport station – From the main station of Geneva-Cornavin (in the city center), frequent connections will take you to this station in about 10 min. Then in 03 min you are in the terminal. Advice: If it is raining (or not), go through ground level, or by passing under the large flight times panel still in the station (in front of the ticket offices), you will take the escalators to the right, you may be be a little against the flow of arrivals. You will then pass a turnstile gate, then a few shops and restaurants, you will be towards the arrivals, there you can easily reach the departures by going up one floor.

- 2 bus – Lines 23, 28 and Y will drop you off between the station and the terminal. With a little change on line 23, you will be driven by a TOSA trolleybus that recharges at some of its stops, with no contact line on the entire line.

On final approach to the airport, you will be very attentive, like all airports, frequent changes in traffic are observed. In general, you will need to access it in an East-West direction, if you miss the desired destination, you will have to lose a few minutes to get back there. Up-to-date GPS can be of great service.
