The community Beetzsee is due to the same name lake. It belongs to the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark in the state Brandenburg.

Beetzsee is an amalgamation of the Brandenburg rural communities of Radewege and Brielow. It is located in a water-rich area to the north of the city Brandenburg on the Havel Other neighboring communities are: Havelsee, Nennhausen, Märkisch Luch, Beetzseeheide.

- Pilgrimage church Tremmen, 15 km from Radewege, is only open on weekends. Self-catering is recommended.
- Rathenow is 25 km away; you can switch to the train in Fohrden (10 km from Radewege).
- Nauen is also 25 km away: you can take the train in Fohrden (10 km from Radewege); you have to change trains in Rathenow; from Neugarten it's another 3 km.
