Blumberg is a small town on the edge of the Wutach Gorge. It lies on the edge of the Southern Black Forest at the Swiss Border between Baar and Hegau.

The city of Blumberg lies at an altitude of 696 m between the 896 m high Eichberg in the north and the 876 m high Buchberg in the south. Since 1975, Blumberg has owned a total of 10 districts, which, according to their location, belong to the Baar-Alb, the Hegau-Alb and the Wutach Gorge. Tourist Attractions
- The Sauschwänzlebahn is the most famous attraction in the region. It got its name because of its route, there are several hairpin bends on the route, one of which is completely in a tunnel. The Interest group Wutachtalbahn operates the route as a museum railway, from the beginning of May to the end of October museum trains run on a 25 km long section of the Wutachtalbahn, the locomotive shed in Blumberg-Zollhaus is open 1 hour before the train leaves and as a museum after its arrival.
