İskele District (İskele İlçesi) is one of the districts of Northern Cyprus. Its sub-districts are İskele, Mehmetçik and Yeni Erenköy.

Geographical notes
The district is made up of the region of the Karpassia Peninsula (Karpaz, Greek: Καρπασία), long (about 80 km) and narrow (about 10 km), which suggests the connection with the Amanos mountains, located in the Hatay region of southern Turkey. At its north-eastern point there is Capo San Andrea (Zafer Burnu) with a few small uninhabited islands.It borders on the mainland to the southwest with the Gazimağusa District (Gazimağusa İlçesi) It borders the sea to the north with the Mediterranean Turkey, to the east with the Syrian coast.
Spoken languages
There Turkish language with an accentuated Cypriot dialect, a minority also speaks the Greek language. Even the use ofEnglish it is quite common in the most touristic centers.

With crystal clear water and a pristine landscape, the district features a beautiful coastline, with miles of sandy beaches and coves along the coast.

How to get
- TO Yeni Erenköy:
- 1 Karpaz Porta Marina (Karpaz Gate Marina), Yeni Erenköy. The first modern marina in Northern Cyprus, with the capacity to accommodate boats up to 55m, anchoring services including electricity and drinking water at all berths and high speed Wi-Fi and TV connection at the berth. An impressive 18,000m2 dry dock for boat repairs, technical services and maintenance, and a 300 ton boat crane, which is capable of lifting boats up to 45m and with a 10m high beam. In addition, the port has one of the most sophisticated computerized security systems in the Mediterranean region; with selective pontoon access and CCTV cameras throughout the marina manned by security personnel 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For these services the port was decorated with 5 gold anchors.

The regular service is operated by dolmuş (minibus) from Nicosia is Kirenia.

By car
As there is no regular bus service, the easiest way to get around is to rent a car.

There are no regular buses in the district, as there are no large cities. The towns and villages are served by dolmuş (minibus).
