Embrun is a municipality in the south-east of France, In the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and the department of High mountains.
Understand
The old town of Embrun dominates the valley of the Durance from the top of the rock on which it is installed. Seat of one of the most powerful archbishoprics of the first Christian centuries, the city developed around its 12th century cathedrale-XIIIe centuries.
