The Eindhoven Airport, international: Eindhoven Airport, is the second largest airport in the Netherlands in terms of passenger numbers after Amsterdam-Schiphol.
It lies between the communities of Best and Veldhoven 7 km west of Eindhoven.

The number of passengers has risen sharply in recent years, with double-digit annual growth rates. They almost doubled between 2010 and 2014, largely thanks to use by low-cost lines.
Arrival and departure
The airport is 30 km from Tilburg, 70 km from Nijmegen, 90 km from Utrecht or Antwerp, 95 km from Maastricht or Mönchengladbach, 105 km from Rotterdam or Duisburg, 110 km from Aachen and 120 km from Dusseldorf or Amsterdam away.
By train
There are frequent shuttle buses from Eindhoven Central Station, the journey time is 20 minutes. Intercity buses on the Den Haag – Rotterdam – Tilburg – Venlo and Alkmaar – Amsterdam – Utrecht – Maastricht lines stop there every half hour.
From Mönchengladbach there are hourly connections with a change in Venlo and Eindhoven train station to Eindhofen Airport in two hours. From Düsseldorf you can also get to Eindhoven Airport in around two hours (by IC bus to Roermond, then by train to Eindhoven and finally by airport shuttle). From Duisburg there are connections every two hours via Utrecht or Düsseldorf, the journey takes just under three hours.
By bus
The bus routes 145, 400 (airport shuttle) and 401 of the Eindhoven bus company Hermes stop right in front of the terminal and establish connections with the city center.
AirExpressBus offers connections several times a day between Eindhoven Airport and Tilburg (return trip with online booking € 16), ’S-Hertogenbosch (30 minutes; € 16.50), Utrecht (1 hour; € 28.50), Amsterdam (1:45 hours; 38.50 €), Weeze Airport (1½ hours; € 33.50), Turnhout (30 minutes; 36.50 €) and Antwerp (1½ hours; 45.50 €).
