background

getting there

By plane

By train

The City-Bahn Chemnitz leaves every hour on weekdays and every two hours on Saturdays / Sundays Chemnitz via Frankenberg to Hainichen.

By bus

In the street

Frankenberg is easily accessible via the A4 Chemnitz – Dresden reachable. In the course of the six-lane expansion, the exit was relocated a little further north, so that the city cannot be reached immediately after leaving the autobahn. In addition to the motorway, there is also the federal highway B169 Chemnitz – Frankenberg – Hainichen (less relevant for the journey because it runs parallel to the A4) and the federal highway 180, which comes from the Ore Mountains and ends in Frankenberg.
