General Acha is a city in the province of The Pampa, head of the Utracán party. It is located 100 km. from the provincial capital, in the vicinity of National Route 152. It fulfills an important function as a service center for travelers, since it is an obligatory passage for motor transport from Buenos Aires to the Alto Valle del Río Negro, Neuquén and the tourist centers from the mountain area of Patagonia.
