The province Gotland (Latin Gotlandia) lies in the Swedish region Götaland. It is formed by the island of Gotland along with neighboring smaller islands.

The island of Gotland is the second largest island in the Baltic Sea and is located northeast of Öland. It takes its name from the Germanic tribe of the Goths.
