Gstadt is a community in Chiemgau in Upper Bavaria and lies on the north bank of the Chiemsee.

Gstadt goes back to the founding of the Frauenchiemsee monastery, after secularization in 1815 it became an independent community. The district of Gollenshausen as well as several other hamlets and farms belong to the community of Gstadt.

View from the Hofanger to the Fraueninsel
- The townscape of Gstadt is dominated by the small church Peter and Paul near the road to the Gollenshausen district. The church is surrounded by a cemetery, the entrance area is accessible during the day.
