Access to Hardeg Castle
- 1 Hardeg Castle, Burgstrasse 2, 37181 Hardegsen. First mentioned in a document in 1266, the castle is the landmark of Hardegsen, and at the same time the oldest preserved secular building in southern Lower Saxony. The Muthaus, Hagenhaus and the remains of the wall have been preserved from the early days of the castle.
