You can do that on the horizon with good visibility Egge Mountains (with Hermannsdenkmal), as well as recognize the 497 m high Köterberg. Only the view to the east is blocked by a ridge, as the tower is on its western slope.Open: freely accessible.

An approximately 1 km long wooden walkway leads through the beautiful area north of Silberborn. From a small observation tower on the footbridge you can enjoy a beautiful view over the protected area. Large parts of the moor have just been renatured. The moor is of course a little more crowded on beautiful Sundays and public holidays in the summer months. If you want less business, you should come on weekdays. Note: That southeast By the way, the "peat bog" from Silberborn is inaccessible.
