Norten-Hardenberg is a place in Lower Saxony. The area of Nörten-Hardenberg lies between the cities Goettingen and Northeim in the south of Lower Saxony. The community also includes the places Angerstein, Bishausen, Elvese, Lütgenrode, Parensen, Sudershausen and Wolbrechtshausen.

The Hardenberg castle ruins are located high up on a rocky promontory of the count's land. You can see the castle illuminated in the evening from the street level with the castle hotel when you drive in the direction of Bishausen.
A very special highlight is the huge fireworks display at the end of the horse show, which is fired from the ruins.

- The Artwork Pi: The number π, the infinite number of a circle, has been gradually shown in the Nörten townscape in the form of pavement slabs since 2003. The action goes back to the initiative of Nörten Bilian Proffen, who describes himself as a "friend of the number π". The pavement slabs contain motifs of the shops or companies in front of which they were laid.

The big festival will open on Friday with the excavation of the Schüttenhoff, a collection of documents about the last Schüttenhoff. The Matrix was first opened as the Carat disco in Nörten-Hardenberg. Today the restaurant has a center meeting point, a lounge area with an African ambience and two dance areas.
