What to do
Trekking (the most challenging trekking peak) is the most popular activity, with a wide range of possibilities, from deserts to jungles. It is also very popular to study yoga or meditation. Water rafting is popular in many places.

Safety
- The altitude sickness it's a concern, with many passes in the Himalayas that are over 5000m. Increase your altitude as slow as possible and drink plenty of fluids after gaining altitude. Altitude sickness is unpredictable and can affect people who have not had problems before.
- Traffic on narrow roads is often frightening, but fatalities are not likely due to slow speeds.
- Flights from the Nepalese Himalayas are often canceled due to bad weather; make sure at least a few days before you need to take a connecting flight.
