TheIstria is a region in the North West of Croatia.
Understand
Istria is a region steeped in history making the towns on the coast particularly interesting in terms of architecture. Many vestiges, ruins are present in this region.
It is also one of the closest and attractive Mediterranean coasts for tourists from Eastern Europe: Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, but also Austria and Germany.

By car
- Since Zagreb : to follow Karlovac/Rijeka, then to Rijeka to follow Pula.
- Since Split : to follow Rijeka, it is better to take the coast road between Sibenick and Rijeka, the highway takes you back up very northeast.
- Since pretty much everywhere else, you will have to go through Trieste, in Italy.
