Kołaczkowo - village in Poland, located in Greater Poland Voivodeship, in Września poviat, headquarters the rural commune of Kołaczkowo; 13 km southeast of September - by the provincial road No. 442. Known for the stay of Władysław Reymont in the years 1920-1925 - a Polish writer, prose writer and novelist, winner of the Nobel Prize in literature for the four-volume "peasant epic" Peasants . There are two museums in the town: the Władysław Reymont Memorial Chamber and the Regional Chamber of Banking Cooperatives at the County Cooperative Bank in Września.

History

In the years 1975-1998, the town was administratively part of the Poznań Province.

Kołaczkowo is located on the Września Plain (315.56), a physico-geographic mesoregion in the central-west Poland, constituting the southern part of the Greater Poland Lake District.

Climate

The region is influenced by the oceanic air masses, which contributes to the mild climate. The area is located in the agri-climate district of Wielkopolska and Silesia. The average annual temperature is around 8 ° C. The growing season is one of the longest in Poland. Annual rainfall ranges from 500 to 550 mm. The town can be visited at any time of the year.

Władysław Reymont Palace in Kołaczków

A historic classicist palace (also considered a manor house by art historians) from the 19th century in Kołaczków, Września poviat, in Greater Poland VoivodeshipLocated at Władysław Reymont Square, the palace was built at the beginning of the 19th century for the Stablewski family (Marcin Libicki says that for Tadeusz Grabski). In the years 1920-1925, Władysław Reymont lived in the palace. After 1945, the interiors were rebuilt. It was built in the shape of a rectangle. At the front elevation, there is an Ionic-style portico supported by eight columns. The furniture used by the writer has been preserved. There is a park next to the palace, with a classicist outbuilding from the first half of the 19th century and outbuildings. Currently, the palace is the seat of the Municipal Cultural Center. It also houses the Władysław Reymont Memorial Chamber and the Regional Chamber of Banking Cooperatives at the County Cooperative Bank in September.

The Władysław Reymont Memorial Chamber in Kołaczków

A museum in the form of a memorial chamber at the Municipal Cultural Center, dedicated to Władysław Reymont. It occupies part of the first floor of the historic palace in Kołaczków, in Września poviat, where the Nobel Prize winner lived in the years 1920–1925.
The facility displays furniture owned by the writer, borrowed from the Museum of Literature. Adam Mickiewicz St. in Warsaw, including a dining room designed by Józef Czajkowski in the style of Zakopane reminiscences, made in Szczerbiński's factory in in Warsaw. The office has Biedermeier-style furniture, including a Nobel laureate's secretary.
On the walls of the study there are photographs showing the interiors of the library and the study in the writer's Warsaw apartment, a view of a gazebo in the park and a hornbeam alley. In the Memorial Room there are copies of letters and postcards drawn by Władysław Reymont, documents illustrating the efforts to purchase Kołaczków, the property plan and documents regarding its management. The exhibition also includes volumes of Reymont's works, as well as stamps, postcards and photos of the writer.
In the park behind the palace, there is a monument depicting Władysław Reymont with the heroes of the novel "Chłopi" - Jagna and Boryna. The monument was built in 1977 and was placed in the coat of arms of the Kołaczkowo commune.

St. Apostles Simon and Judah Tadeusz in Kołaczków

The historic Roman Catholic parish church in Kołaczków, Września poviat, in Greater Poland VoivodeshipIt is located at Wrzesińska Street. It was built in the years 1830-1836 in the neoclassical style, probably according to the design of Piotr Aigner. It has antique fittings from the 17th and 18th centuries, mainly in the Rococo and Classicist styles from the previous wooden church.

Regional Chamber of Banking Cooperatives in Kołaczków

A museum facility with the character of a chamber of remembrance operating at the Powiatowy Bank Spółdzielczy in September, devoted to banking cooperatives. It occupies part of the first floor of the historic Władysław Reymont Palace in Kołaczków, in the Września poviat. The exhibition is provided by the Commune Cultural Center. The chamber was established on the initiative of Stefan Bachorze, director of the District Cooperative Bank in Września. In the years 1998–2001 it was located in the premises of the bank in Września, at ul. Warszawska 36. On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the establishment of cooperative banking in the district of Września, the current exhibition in Kołaczków was opened on June 13, 2001. The bank presents the bank's founding documents, documents presenting its activities and the activities of other cooperative banks from Wielkopolska, as well as equipment and machines office. Also on display are old banknotes, ID cards, commemorative books, uniforms, banners, decorations and portraits of distinguished bankers, including priest Piotr Wawrzyniak - patron of the Union of Profit and Economic Companies.
