Frohburg and Geithain are served by the S 6 of the Central German S-Bahn from Leipzig (via City-Tunnel and Borna) (travel time from Leipzig Hbf 50–60 minutes). In Geithain and Narsdorf there is a connection to regional trains on the Leipzig – Chemnitz route (journey time from Leipzig Hbf 35–45 minutes, from Chemnitz Hbf 20–30 minutes).

By bicycle

The Leipzig-Chemnitz cycle route (via Geithain and Narsdorf) and the Altenburg-Colditz cycle route (via Kohren-Sahlis and Frohburg) lead through Kohrener Land. It is just under 50 km from Leipzig and around 40 km from Chemnitz.

On foot

The 200 km long "pilgrimage route" Via Porphyria leads through the Kohrener Land. On it you can z. B. from Rochlitz or Penig wander here.
