Kraichtal is a city in Kraichgau in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

The town Kraichtal was created in 1971 during the municipal reform from the cities 1 Gochsheim and 2 Unteröwisheim as well as the other communities 3 Railway bridges, 4 Landshausen, 5 Menzingen, 6 Münzesheim, 7 Neuenbürg, 8 Oberacker and 9 Oberöwisheim. The city is located in the southwestern Kraichgau between the cities Bruchsal, Boards, Eppingen and Oestringen. The administrative headquarters are in the Münzesheim district.
