La Spezia is a port city on the Riviera di Levante in the southeast of the region Liguria and capital of the province of La Spezia. It is located on the Gulf of at the southern end of the Ligurian Sea. The city is on Golfo della Spezia, which is also called Golfo dei Poeti (Gulf of Poets) is called.
