the lake victoria, which is the second largest body of freshwater on Earth after the Lake Superior in North America, is bordered by the Kenya, the'Uganda and the Tanzania. Its most distant tributary, which is also the most distant source of the Nile, is the Rukarara which originates in Rwanda and its outlet, the White Nile, it is located at Jinja in Uganda. The lake contains around 450 species of fish, 302 of which are endemic.
Understand
The lake is called Lake victoria in English and Ziwa Viktoria Where Viktoria Nyanza or Ziwa Nyanza in swahili. Given its area, it also bears a number of local names:
- Nam Lolwe in luo to Kenya ;
- Nalubaale in luganda in Uganda ;
- Nyanza in Kinyarwanda in Uganda and in Tanzania ;
- Nyaza Where Ukerewe in soukouma in Tanzania.

- to the west and south-west: North East Tanzania

Stone enclosure measuring from 1 to 10 foot thick and from 1 to 4.2 meters of height built without primer or mortar. The oldest remains of this fortress have more than 500 years.
