By train
The railway line to Laubach has long been closed. The next train stations are in Grünberg and in Hunger.
By bus
Getting to Laubach is incredibly complicated. There are basically three ways to get to Laubach:
- From the train station Lich (partly with a connection to the train station to water) buses run on line 372. These buses run irregular.
- The GI-74 bus runs from Grünberg train station. The buses run Mon-Fri every two hours, Sat and Sun only as a call taxi, which must be booked in advance.
- In the winter timetable, bus line 363 leaves the train station Wolfersheim-Södel via Hungen to Laubach. These buses also run irregular. This line will be discontinued in the summer schedule, then you have to take the bicycle bus to Hoherodskopf (from Hungen train station), which also stops in Laubach.
