Hunte and Schäferhof in the Stemshorn district
The Joint municipality of the Altes Amt Lemförde lies in a circle Diepholz and includes the seven small towns Lemförde, Marl, Hüde, Lembruch, Quernheim, Brockum and stem horn. The municipality is important for tourism because of its location on Lake Dümmer and because of the many moors and nature reserves where visitors to the region can find beautiful nature experiences.

- 1 Lemförde. Administrative seat and by far the largest place in the municipality. Cute town center. Hotels, restaurants, shops.
The industrial site of BASF Polyurethanes, a large German manufacturer of plastics, is located on the south-eastern edge of the town.
