Portovenere
  • "Cinque Terre", five small, picturesque fishing villages, Corniglia, Manarola, Monterosso al Mare, Riomaggiore and Vernazza - perched precariously on the rugged, rocky hills that descend to the Mediterranean. Along with four other locations, it forms the UNESCO World Heritage "Portovenere, Cinque Terre and the Islands (Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto)".

There are small rocky beaches, such as those at "Cinque Terre", or long, sandy beaches, such as those at Alássio. Also inland, thanks to medieval villages like Triora, is a hidden treasure where every bend in the road is a new surprise.
