Sestri Levante is an Italian city of the Liguria in Riviera di Levante.
Due to its geographic conformation it is locally defined as the "city of the two seas", being the historical center of Sestrese overlooking the two bays "delle Favole" and "del Silenzio".

By plane
The closest airport to Sestri Levante is the Cristoforo Colombo in Genoa, about 60 kilometers away. From the airport you have to take the Volabus to the Genova Brignole station, and from there take a train to Sestri Levante.
By car
It is possible to reach Sestri Levante on the motorway via the homonymous tollbooth on the A12 Genova-Livorno or along the via Aurelia (state).
On the train

- 2 Church of San Nicolò dell'Isola, Via Peninsula. Romanesque church built around 1151, of great charm.

Particularly popular is the excursion to Punta Manara (166 m asl), with a path that begins as a typical creuza Ligurian from a portico in Via XXV Aprile and reaches the tip of the promontory after about 1 hour of walking following two red squares as a signpost. From the cape you can appreciate a splendid view of the promontory of Sestri with the Bay of Silence, and on the other side Riva Trigoso. Feasible in all seasons, even by children.
