Market Swabia is a market town in Upper Bavaria, 25 km east of Munich in the district Ebersberg.

By plane
The nearest commercial airport is Munich - Franz Josef Strauss. From here offer above all Lufthansa and their partner the Star Alliance Connections to cities in Germany, Europe and worldwide. As the second largest airport in Germany, it is connected to a growing number of cities.
By train
Markt Schwaben is across the line S2 Connected to the network of the Munich S-Bahn and thus has a direct connection to the Munich Downtown and to the long-distance train stations. There is also connection to Erding. If you want to go to the Erdinger Therme, it is best to get in Altenerding and then take the bus or walk for about 10 minutes. The station Market Swabia located within walking distance of the city center. Exact departure times and prices can be found on the website of the Munich Transport and Tariff Association here to find. There are already concrete plans for a new track layout north of Erding (the so-called Erdinger ring closure), which provide a connection to the regional rail network and an extension to the airport. Construction is expected in the next few years.
In the street
Via the autobahn A 94 (Munich - Passau) you can reach the place very quickly. Via State Road 2580, also known as the Airport Tangent East Erding, Freising and Munich Airport are connected to Markt Schwaben.
By boat
Markt Schwaben can be easily reached via the Henningbach by rubber dinghy or canoe. From the Black Sea you first drive up the Danube to the mouth of the Isar at Deggendorf. From there it goes upstream to Spörerau, where the Sempt flows into the Isar. Now it goes up the Sempt to Ottenhofen, where you follow the Anzinger Sempt until you finally take the junction to Markt Schwaben, the Henningbach. An ideal exit point is the picturesque Postanger in the center of the village.

- The district town is located about 15 km to the north Erding, famous for its internationally recognized thermal baths, the famous wheat beer brewery and the cozy town center.
- The cathedral city Freising is about 40 km north. There you can visit the magnificent cathedral, see the oldest brewery in Germany, Weihenstephan, or explore the shops in the historic city center.
- Munich is only 20-30 minutes away by car.
