Marloffstein is a place in Middle Franconia (Bavaria), about 3 km from Erlangen. Marloffstein belongs administratively to the administrative community Uttenreuth in the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt.

The small place belongs to the mountain range of the districts Adlitz (with Schneckenhof), Rathberg, Atzelsberg and Marloffstein. All four localities of the mountain community are located on a hill ridge between Erlangen and the with great views Franconian Switzerland and each have a lock.

Marloffstein is connected to the Rangau hiking trail network.
