the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) is a federal state of Northern Germany, located between the Brandenburg, the Baltic Sea, and the Poland neighbor. It is a plain region and it is also the least populated part of the country. Historically, Pomerania continues east into Poland following the Baltic coast.
