Medveja is a small village and seaside resort on the eastern coast of Istria, to the Gulf of Kvarner. The village is located on a picturesque bay, 2 kilometers south of lovran. The population is 177. Medveja is known for its large campsite, pebble beach and the beautiful sea water that has a color from turquoise to dark blue. In the background is the Učka Mountains.
