Mesenich is a small wine village on the Lower Moselle in the district of Cochem-Zell in Rhineland-Palatinate. The state-approved tourist destination is part of the Cochem association.

The village of Mesenich is located on the right bank of the Moselle Moselle cramps between Cochem and Cell. The place was first mentioned in a document around 1050, it belonged to the Brauweiler Abbey until the secularization, after which it came to Prussia. Mesenich has belonged to the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate since 1946.

Mesenich himself does not have a train station. The next train stations are in Ediger-Eller (8 km away), Cochem (15 km) and Treis cards (17 km).
