Minden-Lübbecke is a region (Kreis) in the German state North Rhine-Westphalia.

Minden-Lübbecke is named after the two largest towns. The Wiehen Mountains run right through the region, forming a scenic divide between the hilly Weserbergland and the lowlands. The division is very strikingly visible from Minden, from where there is a clear gap between the two ridges. On this spot is a place with the apt name Porta Westfalica. And on one of the hills is a large statue of Kaiser Wilhelm overlooking the Weser, the Wilhelmdenkmal.

A station on the E11 is Porta Westfalica, which connects to Minden at 5 minutes every hour. There are simple facilities at Minden station, such as a bookshop and a sandwich shop. By car

Through this region runs the European walking route E11. This route runs from the Hague to the east, currently the border Poland/Lithuania. The route is partly marked in this region on internet, and comes from Osnabruck if Wittekindsweg over the ridge the Wiehengebirge via the Wittekindsberg and the Wilhelmdenkmal to Porta Westfalica. The route continues as Weserberglandweg, also over the comb towards Steinbergen in the region Hamelin-Pyrmont.
