The Markramerpad is part of the Handelsweg and the European walking route E11. The E11 runs from the Hague to the east, currently the border Poland/Lithuania. The route comes from Deurningen, in the municipality Hengelo, runs through the center of Oldenzaal and continues south-east towards Gildehaus in the Grafschaft Bentheim in Germany.

The Noaberpad runs from Nieuweschans nasty Emmerich. On site, the route of Ootmarsum will enter the municipality Dinkelland, runs along the Lutte and continues to Glanerbrug, near Enschede.
