Pfaffenhofen (Württemberg) is a community in Zabergäu.
background
The municipality of Pfaffenhofen was created in 1972 through the merger of the formerly independent villages Pfaffenhofen and Weiler. It is celebrated every two years: According to the Pfaffenhof nickname "Frogs" and the "snails" from Weiler, there is the "Frog and Snail Festival" every two years. The originally agricultural place has changed to a residential community. Viticulture is still an important economic factor, Pfaffenhofen is on the Württemberg Wine Route.
Pfaffenhofen is located in the southwest of the district of Heilbronn, neighboring towns are Zaberfeld, Eppingen and Güglingen, the southern neighbor Sachsenhausen already belongs to the district of Ludwigsburg.
