Air-conditioned buses bring you from the spa town's train station at regular intervals Meran to Pfelders and back.

Tourist Attractions

The numerous traditional wooden buildings, courtyards and barns are certainly worth seeing here. Here, where tradition is still lived and culture is an important part of everyday life. The little church in the center of the village is definitely worth a visit. The Andreas Hofer Museum in nearby St. Leonhard in Passeier and the Bunker Museum in Moos in Passeier are certainly among the important sights.

A hiking paradise awaits hikers and nature lovers in summer. Climbers can enjoy themselves in the "Bergkristall" climbing garden. The end of the season is the traditional cattle drive with festivities and music in autumn.

The almost 100 km long Meraner Höhenweg runs along the Texel group through the Pfelders. Probably the most famous circular hiking trail in the region runs at an almost constant altitude of around 1,400 m. The walking time of the entire circular hike is between 3 and 9 days, depending on your fitness level.

In winter, Pfelders is a small but nice ski area and popular with families and children.

The further offer includes cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs and ski slopes to a natural ice rink, snow park, beginners' hill for the little ones and wonderful excursions on horse-drawn sleighs. Ice climbers, ski tourers and winter hikers also get their money's worth. By the way: In winter, the natural tobogganing World Cup final is also held here.
