There Mincio cycle path is an itinerary that connects the Lake Garda to the city of Mantua, through the suggestive Mincio Regional Park.
Introduction
It is a bi-directional cycle path with a modest elevation gain. Completed in 2006 and entirely paved, it retraces one of the sides of the famous fortified quadrilateral that the Austrians built in the first half of the 1800s.
When to go
Preferably in spring and autumn. To avoid the summer for the heat.
Who is it for?
Path also suitable for children with their own bicycle, but to consider the length of the path. Beware of heavy traffic on Sundays between Peschiera del Garda and Borghetto.
