By car
The city of Pompeii is crossed by the A3 motorway Naples-Salerno. On this line there are 3 toll booths which in a north-south direction are respectively:
- West Pompeii
- Castellammare di Stabia (although in the territory of Pompeii)
- East Pompeii - Scafati (the actual toll booth is in the territory of the municipality of Pompeii)
On the train
The city of Pompeii is crossed by 3 railway lines: Naples-Poggiomarino and Torre Annunziata-Sorrento of the ex Circumvesuviana network managed by the Autonomous Body Volturno, the Naples-Salerno is managed by the Italian Railway Network.
